Product Block

Set up the ShopTasks product block to surface related tasks directly on your Shopify product admin pages and create tasks from products.

Setting Up the Product Block

The product block allows you to surface products from your store directly within your tasks. This is particularly useful for tasks that involve product management, inventory checks, or promotional activities.

Adding the Product Block to Your Product Page

  1. Go to your product admin page.
  2. At the bottom of the page there is a section called "Blocks".
  3. Click "Related tasks" with the app logo — the block will be added to the product page.
  4. Pin the block so that it is visible on the product page.

Creating a New Task

You can create a new task using the product block by clicking on the dark button titled "Create task".

Or you can click "More actions" at the top of the product page, and select "Create task".

Fill in the information in the form, and click "Create task". You should notice your new task appear in the product block at the bottom of the page.
